Workshops at Los Angeles Anime Expo
The Anime Expo was held in Los Angeles, and Anime Art Academy were excited to be invited to hold a workshop there!
AAA teacher and pro manga-ka Ebi Blue, along with AAA founders Tanoura and Muta, headed over to Los Angeles and presented a super popular "How to Draw Manga" workshop, attended by over 1200 students.
After the workshop, we were pleased to be able to meet many more attendants who queued at our booth for extra advice from our teacher.

Collaboration with ASVOFF 14
Anime Art Academy was honoured to be chosen as a judge for the famous Paris short film festival "ASVOFF: A Shaded View on Fashion Film" in their brand new Anime and Manga category!
We also held an illustration contest for our students, in partnership with ASVOFF.

Anime Art Academy is pleased to be sponsoring Sunrise Library, a branch of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District for their annual event, animeFEST.
We are proud sponsors of their Teen art contest, where participants can submit their original anime art for a chance to win one of our manga drawing courses!
Providing illustration lessons for non-profit art school "Screen Arts Institute"
Starting this September, Anime Art Academy will be providing a special course of lessons to Screen Arts Institute, a non-profit art school based in Pennsylvania, US.
We're happy for any opportunity to support wonderful non-profit organisations, and provide opportunities for bright young students of all different backgrounds to learn about Japanese illustration.
Children's illustration contest with "Global Arts, Sports and Culture Association" GASCA
Anime Art Academy recently collaborated with Hong Kong-based contest organisation GASCA, to hold two popular art competitions. We judged and presented prizes for both the 4-9 year old colouring contest, and the 11-17 year old drawing contest.
This was a great chance to get involved with more young students all over the world and we were impressed by their excellent potential as anime artists!
